Where can I watch the most recent show/2012 VSFS?

It was filmed Nov 7th but it doesn’t air live so it hasn’t been on TV yet. It will air in the US on Dec 4th. There will also be a livestream of the show which I will post links to once they are released closer to the date!

Why wasn’t Chanel in the show/is she still an Angel?

Chanel didn’t attend the casting for this year’s show. During the time of castings she was travelling around the US to support Obama in the US election. I’m not sure if she declined an invite to be in the show or she wasn’t offered a place. VS haven’t said anything but I am pretty confident she is no longer an angel. Reason being, she didn’t shoot for the 2012 Holiday campaign. Why did she leave? Well, most girls do a couple of years of being an Angel and then move on. Adriana and Alessandra are exceptions though. VS need to keep the brand fresh and use new girls. But I don’t know the exact reason why Chanel left/if it was her choice or if VS didn’t want to renew her angel contract. 

Has Rosie left VS?

I think Rosie is done with VS for good. She is listed on the VS All Access site as an angel along with Chanel but I don’t think they are angels anymore. Rosie has not worked for VS in a long time and she has started her own lingerie line in the UK with Marks & Spencer, putting her in competition with VS, so I honestly don’t think she will return to VS. She is pursuing her acting career and is doing less modelling in general so I think her acting career is what she is focussing on from now on.

What’s the difference between ‘VS Angels’ and ‘VS Models’?

VS Models shoot for the brand’s lingerie, swim, PINK or clothing line and sometimes, but not always, walk the fashion show. Usually, you need to become a VS model first before you become an Angel. VS Angels act as spokespersons for the brand - they are the main faces of VS and who people think of when they think of Victoria’s Secret because they shoot commericals, are used heavily in their campaigns, star in the fashion show and have the most outfits in them, do TV interviews and attend product launches and store openings. There have only been 24 angels in the history of VS and it’s a very hard position to get!

The current Angels are Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Chanel Iman, Erin Heatherton, Lindsay Ellingson, Behati Prinsloo and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

All the other girls that are working for VS, like Barbara Palvin, Lais Ribeiro, Toni Garrn, Bregje Heinen, Elsa Hosk and many more, are only VS models.

Are any of the girls from ANTM or won a modelling contest?

Dani Evans from ANTM season 6 shot for PINK but she’s the only person from ANTM that has worked for VS. Heaps of the girls have been in modelling contests though! Shanina Shaik was on a show called ‘Make me a Supermodel’ but she didn’t win but it was a starting point for her career,Miranda Kerr won a Dolly Magazine model search competition when she was in her teens, Abbey-Lee won a Girlfriend magazine model search competition, Heidi Klum won a model search competition in 1992 which started her career, Adriana came first in Ford’s “Supermodel of Brazil’ contest when she was 13, Gisele and Alessandra took part in an Elite model management competition. There is probably more but that’s all I know of! 

Do any of the girls have plastic surgery?

Ale got her ears pinned back when she was younger. Besides that, none of them have ever confirmed any surgery. Many of them are rumoured to have boob/nose jobs. The most popular rumours are thatErin, Marisa, Selita, Gisele and Adriana have had boob jobs. As for lip injections, none of them have admitted they have got them. A lot of people say Rosie has but I think  her lips are naturally like that, she got teased in school for having big lips!
